NSW Health said they are 'particularly concerned' by the latest detections as they are not aware of any coronavirus infections in the areas - putting almost 115,000 residents on alert.

The detections at the sewage systems at Toukley, Lane Cove West, South Windsor and Castle Hill came as the state recorded 170 new coronavirus cases on Friday.

Health authorities said they are “particularly concerned by these detections, as there are no known cases in these areas”.
