The Plantation based NPO Urban Ruins is appealing for support for its feeding scheme.According to Clayton Viljoen, Urban Ruins CEO, their feeding scheme, initiated about two years ago, visits Reiger Park, Comet, Blue Sky informal settlement and Boksburg CBD every second week of the month to feed about 400 people.
Urban Ruins also distributes food parcels to 300 families at least twice a month in the aforementioned areas.These are made possible by generous donations from Checkers Bonearo Park and Pick n Pay Hypermarket at Eastpoint Shopping Centre.
