Fri, March 15th 2024 at 4:36 PMFraudulent activity has been reported for a UPMC nurse, Mojgan Amiri-Parian, who allegedly used a deceased patient's debit card.
The caller's sister was admitted to the hospital on Jan. 22nd, 2024, and passed away at UPMC West on Jan. 25th, 2024, according to police. The payments included almost $1,000 spent at the Capital City Mall's Pandora store, over $200 at Target, $34.31 at Sheetz, and $20.14 at Chipotle, totaling $1,206.29 in fraudulent purchases.
Footage also shows that she drove a black Nissan Altima with license plate numbers matching a vehicle owned by Amiri-Parian.
