While the series never fully deals with the themes it tackles, season 3 is enjoyable, with a great buildup that has stakes and intrigue.

Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Upload has maintained a lighthearted tone despite diving further into the mysteries at its center. Season 3 is no different. Power, corporate greed, corruption, and violence abound, but Upload doesn’t lose its jovial nature, continuing to build out its world, advance its storyline and develop central relationships without losing momentum.

Upload season 3 is a step up from season 2, especially as it turns its focus toward the control of big tech over the lives of the underserved. Nathan and Nora see first-hand what’s happening in communities and how Freeyond is using people to further their own greed. The season also delves a bit into AI and what it means to be human, which gives Owen Daniels’ character a bit more to do, and his performance reflects that.

And just when you think Upload’s chosen one path for its main couple, the decision to create a new copy of Nathan gives the show a different couple, and a new angle to explore in terms of Ingrid’s development. She’s been hung up on Nathan for a long time, but season 3 allows her to look inwards and overcome a few obstacles that help her grow.
