The BYD Han gains more sophisticated ADAS, a new rear suspension, an updated powertrain for the PHEV, and a 800V battery for the EV
The BYD Han electrified sedan received a number of important upgrades for 2025 in China . The PHEV and EV versions adopt the same exterior design and benefit from more technology. Changes also include an improved PHEV powertrain, faster charging for the EV, and better ADAS. BYD unveiled an updated version of the Han in China , improving its underpinnings and adding more technology, while slightly reducing its starting price.
Safety equipment has been enhanced with the BYD DiPilot 300 system, utilizing 31 sensors - including the LiDAR - and the Nvidia Orin-X chip for AI-defined cars. The chassis has also been upgraded with a new five-link suspension at the back, and variable damping technology for greater comfort. The 4,975 mm long sedan is still available with a choice of PHEV and EV powertrains.
