Nintendo has said Wave 1 of Splatoon 3's Expansion Pass will arrive on February 28
, Wave 1 – dubbed Inkopolis – will arrive at the end of this month, and return players to the titular location last seen in the first Splatoon.Players will be able to select Inkopolis Plaza as their main location between games, which has been updated with some new vendors and new features. The famous Squid Sisters will also appear here during Splatfests.
It’ll be followed by Wave 2, of course, which will be a new single player DLC named Side Order that’ll also help fill out some of the world lore. That’s because it’ll see players discover what became of the Inkopolis Square from Splatoon 2. Not much more detail was revealed, but it’ll come along a little later than the first wave.
