Ariton 40, Houston County 28: Addison Senn rushed for 111 yards and three touchdowns and Wells Ganey had 103 yards and two scores to lead Ariton over Houston County in a Class 2A, Region 2 contest.For Houston County, Azariel Todd rushed for three touchdowns and Deyshaun Wynn one TD.Houston County and Ariton were tied at 14 after the first quarter before the Purple Cats took a 27-14 halftime lead and stayed in front in the final two quarters.
Defensively, Jon Harper had eight tackles, and a 35-yard interception return for a touchdown as Brantley improved to 2-0 overall and 1-0 in Class 1A, Region 2.
