Pima County Sheriff's Department has identified the man arrested after a standoff with law enforcement on the far Northwest side as 48-year-old Terry Cupell.
Pima County Sheriff's Department has identified the man arrested after a standoff with law enforcement on the far Northwest side as 48-year-old Terry Cupell.
Upon arrival, deputies learned Cupell had allegedly been in a physical altercation with the victim and retreated into residence home, according to the news release.Cupell refused to cooperate or exit his residence, the news release said. Detectives from the PCSD Arson Unit, Domestic Violence Unit, members of the Pima Regional SWAT Team and the Pima Regional Negotiations Team responded to the scene.
