The Bulldogs received 43 first-place votes, Michigan got 16, and Ohio State and Florida State each had one.
Alabama has won five straight since a Week 2 loss to Texas, but it hasn’t been able to get back into the top 10. The Tide are positioned to either get back into the top 10 or slip even farther next week when they host No. 17 Tennessee. After that, Alabama has a week off before hosting No. 19 LSU.
