Police are searching for the 23-year-old after she went missing on June 17

Police are still searching for the 23-year-old, who was returning home from California where she had attended a funeral from her grandmother. Lueck, who is originally from El Segundo, California, texted her parents after her flight landed at the Salt Lake City International Airport around 1 a.m.

According to a statement from the Salt Lake City Police, Lueck was driven to a non-residential address in North Salt Lake, where she was last seen in the early morning hours of June 18. Lyft released a statement saying Lueck’s ride showed “no irregularities” and that the driver continued picking up rides immediately after hers ended, CNN reports. “We recognize how scary this must be for those who know and love Ms. Lueck,” Lyft said. “The safety of our community is fundamental to Lyft and we are actively assisting law enforcement with their investigation.”

Ashley Fine, a friend of Lueck’s, told KSL.com that she and Lueck’s other friends have been calling her phone nonstop. “We’re millennials. [Not answering the phone] is very, very unusual. Even if you’re missing, or you want to disappear, you have to turn your phone on to GPS,” Fine said. Another friend, Juliana Cauley called Lueck “the sweetest and most genuine” in an interview with CBS News. “It’s not like her to go off the grid and if she did then she would tell me,” Fine said.

The Salt Lake Police created a dedicated tip line for anyone with information on Lueck’s disappearance. “I would do anything to get her back. And honestly, I would trade places with her in a heartbeat just to know she’s safe,” Cauley said.
