University of North Carolina gives the 'Silent Sam' statue to a Confederate group
Ever since protesters toppled a Confederate statue known as Silent Sam at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill last year, the college has hidden the monument from view, stashing it in storage and refusing to disclose its location.
