The Arctic Innovation competition hosted more than 70 competitors from all over North America, showing off their creative ideas.

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - The competition awarded more than $45,000 in cash prizes on Saturday, April 20 at the Westmark Hotel. The UAF College of Business and Security Management hosted the event for people to showcase their products, apps or services as well as start up businesses.

“Potential users are endless: mining, oil, gas, guiding companies and more. It seamlessly integrates with platforms used in remote, rural areas, including snow machines, four-wheelers, boats and airplanes.” Oestgaard said
