For the moment, both the Orlando and Hollywood Universal Studios destinations are slated to reopen April 20
The Walt Disney Co. said nearly two weeks ago that its North American theme parks would stay closed indefinitely amid the coronavirus pandemic. Universal Studios has yet to follow suit.
As of Thursday, the websites for the Hollywood and Orlando destinations state they are only closed through April 19. When asked for comment about the situation, a spokeswoman toldA request for comment from the Hollywood park's union, B-192, which represents more than 2,200 members, was not returned. the weekend of March 14.
