Universal Studios Hollywood is set to launch a new after-hours event called Fan Fest Nights , immersing guests in their favorite fandom universes. Similar to Disney's themed fan nights, Fan Fest Nights will combine immersive walkthrough experiences reminiscent of Halloween Horror Nights with interactive events. Guests can expect a mix of themed experiences, food, and merchandise designed to enhance the feeling of being transported to another world.
The event will kick off each night with the Block Party Festival, described as a fusion of Horror Nights and Comic-Con. This area will feature group meetups, cosplay celebrations, trivia, and live music, celebrating the community aspect of fandom. Following the Block Party, each night will delve into a specific theme, offering unique experiences. One of the most intriguing concepts is the Star Trek: The Next Generation-themed night. Guests will embark on a pulsed story-based experience, where they'll be thrust into the heart of the action as a mysterious entity wreaks havoc. The journey will take them through iconic locations like the ship's shuttle bay, sickbay, and even the legendary bridge, recreated in collaboration with Paramount. Universal is also bringing the magic of Back to the Future to life with a night centered around the Courthouse Square, featuring characters from the film, dance numbers, and a recreation of the iconic Enchantment Under the Sea dance.Another event will immerse fans in the world of Dungeons & Dragons, allowing them to participate in a live-action role-playing adventure as they join the Harpers faction to save Waterdeep from the legendary beholder, Xanathar
