New rates for Universal Credit, State Pension and other DWP benefits from April 2023 - full list

Millions of people who receive benefits from the Department for Work and Pensions are set for a cash boost in April. Benefits and the State Pension are uprated by 10.1% for the 2023-24 financial year in line with the Consumer Price Index inflation rate for last September.

For people on Universal Credit, the uprating will mean an extra £26.80 a month for those under 25 and £33.83 more for those older. Joint claimants who are both under the age of 25 will see payments increased by £42.06 a month and couples with at least one person older than 25 will get an extra £53.10.
