Luigi Mangione, accused of killing UnitedHealth Group CEO Brian Thompson, is scheduled for an arraignment in Manhattan court on state murder and terror charges.

Luigi Mangione, the suspect in the killing of UnitedHealth Group executive Brian Thompson, is expected to appear in a Manhattan court on Monday for his arraignment on state murder and terror charges. He is facing 11 charges, including first-degree murder in furtherance of terrorism. The arraignment is expected to be presided over by Judge Gregory Carro.

Mangione is also facing a federal case, where one of the charges, murder through the use of a firearm, would make him eligible for the death penalty if convicted. Both cases are in addition to the charges brought against Mangione in Pennsylvania, where he was arrested and faces charges including forgery and possession of an unlicensed firearm
