United Airlines dice que comenzará a abordar pasajeros en clase económica con asientos junto a la ventana a partir de la próxima semana, una medida que acelerará los tiempos de embarque de los vuelos. El plan, conocido como WILMA, para ventana, medio y pasillo, fue probado en cuatro ubicaciones nacionales y una del centro. United dijo que ha demostrado ahorrar hasta dos minutos de tiempo de embarque. El cambio comenzará con los pasajeros del Grupo 4.
Tampoco hay cambios para el grupo de preembarque que incluye viajeros con discapacidades, menores no acompañados, militares en servicio activo y familias que viajan con niños de 2 años o menos.
