But that didn't stop a prominent Rangers fan group from walking out before the player had the chance to get an end-of-season lap of honour.
It's been a disappointing end to the season for the Light Blues after they promised to deliver a closely-fought title race until the bitter end. It's believed the group, sat in the bottom left corner of the Broomloan Stand, left bang on Matthew MacDermid's full-time whistle.
