The smartphone world has gotten progressively larger over the years, but some users crave a return to the days of compact devices. The wait is over now!, touted as the world’s smallest 5G phone, has launched its crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter. Starting at an early bird price of just $199, the Jelly Max packs a powerful punch despite its pocket-friendly size.The Jelly Max features a 5.05-inch, 720 x 1520 resolution LCD display with a punch-hole cutout for the front-facing camera.
The device comes with the powerful MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor, a significant upgrade from the Helio G99 found in its predecessors. This processor is paired with a whopping 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage, ensuring smooth performance for everyday tasks and even some light gaming.
For photos, the Jelly Max features a triple-camera system on the back. The main sensor is a whopping 100MP, accompanied by an 8MP telephoto lens and a 32MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. The Jelly Max is equipped with a 4000mAh battery, which is impressive for a compact smartphone. Additionally, the phone supports 66W fast charging, which is claimed to juice the battery up to 90% in just 20 minutes.
The device runs the latest Android 14 operating system and boasts a variety of connectivity options, including 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC for contactless payments, and an infrared port for controlling appliances.
