Unidentified: Two cold cases from northern Ohio moving forward with DNA and ancestry

19 Investigates found these unidentified cases could be a step closer to getting their names back thanks to volunteers and DNA technology.

CLEVELAND, Ohio - There has been a big step forward for two cold cases dating back to the 1980s that we’ve been following closely.

Back in June 1987, a driver found her body in a back alley in a Toledo neighborhood just off I-75, after seeing flames from the highway.
