The NAS Jacksonville Public Affairs Office sent a notice about the unexploded ordnance just before 10:45 a.m. Thursday, saying construction teams working on the flight line had found the objects.The Explosive Ordnance Disposal Team came over from Naval Station Mayport, checked out the objects and deemed them safe.
