A high-profile member of the Alameddine crime family has been arrested in Sydney’s east after allegedly being on the run from police for more than a month.
Following a short foot pursuit, the 33-year-old was arrested nearby and taken to Maroubra Police Station where he is assisting police with inquiries. Later, two women aged 28 and 35 who were allegedly at the house with Alameddine were arrested at a service station on Waterloo Road and taken to Bankstown Police Station.
