Camille Morrison was big for the Mustangs with 12 kills and two aces in a 22-25, 25-18, 25-21 loss to Glenbard West in a Class 4A sectional semifinal.
Over the past three seasons, senior outside hitter Camille Morrison has climbed the ladder for Metea Valley, becoming that assertive star the Mustangs needed in big matches. According to coach Dave Macdonald, the progression has been a sight to see. “She’s been our rock all season,” Macdonald said of the 6-foot Morrison. “She’s constantly gotten better and better as the years have gone on. She kept growing and growing. “I can’t talk enough about how awesome she is on the court, off the court.

Glenbard West jumped out to a 5-0 lead in the second game. Metea battled to a 13-13 tie, but that was as close as the Mustangs could get.
