Grayson Waller was initially ruled out of WWE “Royal Rumble 2026,“ but a new report reveals his schedule has been cleared.
Details on Grayson Waller's potential appearance at WWE “Royal Rumble 2026“ on Saturday are now unclear. PWInsider initially reported that Waller was scheduled for “NXT“ live events this weekend, which would've ruled him out of one of WWE''s biggest annual shows.
The report was surprising to some given that Waller is seen quite often on “Monday Night Raw.“ The media outlet is now reporting that Waller has been replaced on the “NXT“ loop by Santos Escobar. It was noted that whether or not this means Waller will be traveling to Riyadh for the “Royal Rumble“ event remains to be seen. Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods convinced Waller to ditch his tag team with Austin Theory. Ever since, Waller has tagged along with the duo, although he isn't officially a member of The New Day. Waller's role has been more of a manager for the tag team, although he still performs in the ring. The Australian star was last seen on WWE TV during this past Monday's episode of “Raw.“ Waller was at ringside supporting The New Day during a fatal four-way No. 1 contender match for a shot at the WWE World Tag Team Championship. Waller's interference led to him eating a superkick from Jey Uso, who was also at ringside. Ultimately, Otis and Tozawa of Alpha Academy won the match.
