My friends and I put our heads together on how we could support the music venues and musicians who will suffer the most from the shutdowns,” said Herstand in a statement. “Now that the pandemic has closed nearly every music venue in the world for the foreseeable future, it’s time for the global music community to unite as one and pick each other back up.
Confirmed venue curators are located globally; in the U.S., they represent Los Angeles, New York City, San Francisco, San Luis Obispo, the Twin Cities, Columbus, Colorado, West Virginia, Kansas City, New Jersey, Pittsburgh and Philadelphia. International participants have been secured from Japan, the U.K., Australia, Portugal and Spain, with more to be announced.
