The last two unbeaten teams in Class 6A, Region 1 meet Friday night at St. Paul's.
St. Paul's Noah Abrams sacks UMS-Wright's Max Fowler in the first half of a prep football game Friday, August 23, 2024, in Mobile, Ala. Abrams and the Saints host No. 1 Saraland on Friday. Despite an unbeaten record, St. Paul’s coach Ham Barnett knows his team is an underdog in Friday’s Press-Register Game of the Week against No. 1-ranked Saraland.
“Anytime you are 6-0, you are playing with some confidence,” Barnett said this week. “I feel like we are playing with house money a little bit. No one thinks we have a chance to win. I am just telling our kids to play loose and have fun out there.
