Doorbell camera images show the suspect being brought to the ground with a Taser before being handcuffed
Chief Superintendent Stuart Bell, of the Metropolitan Police, said five people, including two police officers, were injured in the attack around 7am on Tuesday and taken to hospital. One victim, a boy aged 14, has since died.
Wearing a yellow hooded top, the suspect can first be seen climbing over a fence on to a residential driveway to the backdrop of police sirens. In grabs of the video, the suspect can be seen holding his left arm up in defence as one Taser is discharged. The same officer discharged the Taser again, before a female officer separately discharged her own Taser at the suspect.
While none of the injuries are said to be life-threatening, Chief Superintendent Stuart Bell of the Metropolitan Police did say the affected police officers had sustained “significant injuries”, requiring surgery.
