TOULOUSE - Un cluster de Covid-19 a été identifié autour de Toulouse, en Haute-Garonne a annoncé samedi soir l’Agence régionale de santé d’Occitanie qui fait état de 16 personnes contaminées sur un groupe d’une cinquantaine de personnes.
Dans le cadre d’un repas ayant rassemblé le 1er juin dernier 52 personnes, cinq familles de l’agglomération toulousaine ont été en contact avec une personne infectée au Covid-19 revenant d’Allemagne, a indiqué l’ARS. Toutes ces personnes sont actuellement à l’isolement pour une durée de 14 jours. L’enquête en cours a permis d’identifier 16 cas confirmés et 11 cas négatifs.
Les investigations se poursuivent pour les autres membres de ce rassemblement familial qui attendent le résultat de leur test ou vont très prochainement se faire tester, a précisé l’ARS pour qui “cette situation prouve que la circulation virale, bien que faible, nécessite de conserver un haut niveau de vigilance”.
