Ahmad Maslan says Sabah Umno and PPBM must come to a win-win and not a win-lose or lose-lose solution in their negotiations for seats.
Umno secretary-general Ahmad Maslan said the matter needs to be resolved soon to enable their election machinery to get cracking. “I hope the talks can be done soon. That is key, and only after that will we think about the candidates. All these need to be done quickly,” he told Bernama after attending the Sabah Umno political bureau meeting at the party headquarters here today.Ahmad said he had been asked by Umno president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi to monitor developments and hold discussions with all the 25 division committees in the state.
However, both state party chiefs also expressed willingness to hold discussions over seat allocations.
