Umno, PAS gearing up for snap polls

UMNO has ordered all its division leaders to get ready for a possible general election, said Annuar Musa, even as Parliament prepares to meet on Monday to find a prime minister. The Umno secretary-general said the order was consistent with the party’s stand that it wants the Yang di-Pertuan Agong to dissolve Parliament and hold a general election.
