UMNO alu-alukan pindaan akta lompat parti, elak kenyataan bercanggah
KANGAR: UMNO mengalu-alukan sebarang langkah dan usaha oleh kerajaan bagi memperbaiki kelemahan yang terkandung dalam akta lompat parti ketika ini.
“Sebarang langkah untuk memperbaiki kalau ada kelompongan tentunya kita alu-alukan sebab hasrat kita di peringkat awal begitulah. Tapi dalam masa sama, ‘separtion of power’ itu juga harus diamati. Perdana Menteri, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim berkata, Pakatan Harapan pada 2022 pernah mengusulkan supaya pindaan dibuat kepada akta terbabit, namun ditolak oleh kerajaan ketika itu.
