Hailing it as a tested killer of the novel coronavirus, New York City transit officials announced that they are launching a pilot program using ultraviolet light to disinfect its subway cars and buses.
The mission to make the normally 24-hour transit service safe for essential workers to ride has been continuing daily between the hours of 1-5 a.m.
