Mrs Nehreba said she had been compelled to undertake the arduous journey with daughter Agnia, three, because she had been in 'excruciating' pain but 'couldn't find' an NHS dentist. Dnipro is very dangerous, and I was very worried when I went but my pain was very strong. I could not stay here.' 'She didn't want to lose her tooth but she couldn't afford the cost for treatment privately, and she didn't want to take money off anybody else to pay for it either.'

NHS fertility clinic in east London has licence suspended over embryo destruction fearsA major NHS fertility clinic in Homerton, east London, has had its licence to operate suspended over fears embryos have been destroyed. Homerton Fertility Centre in east London has seen three cases of embryos not surviving the freezing process in the last year, trust officials say. The Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority (HFEA) said it had suspended the centre’s licence to operate today over ‘significant concerns about the clinic’.
