A senior Ukrainian military official has vowed to take swift action against Russia after a series of attacks targeting capital Kyiv.
General Kyrylo Budanov posted a short statement following Monday’s attacks, warning Russia’s top brass they would come to “regret it very soon”.

Local military commanders in Kyiv accused Russia of deliberately targeting Kyiv’s civilian population by targeting the centre rather than the military infrastructure.There have been around 16 air attacks on the Ukrainian capital this month. "Almost every night, the skies look and sound like another Star Wars episode, but we don't feel much of Russian rockets hitting their targets here within the city area,” he said.
