UKRAINE could pay an 'enormous price' in peace negotiations with Russia, and the country's people may be asked to make 'an incredibly difficult choice', Russia expert Kevin Connolly told Express.co.uk.
said Russia was “ready to propose a search for solutions in line with its well-known principled approaches”. Talks have reportedly made significant progress in the past week on terms which allegedly included a Russian ceasefire and withdrawal in exchange for Ukraine’s capital, Kyiv, declaring neutrality.However the West fear Russia may not be negotiating in good faith, and are merely buying time to replenish their army.
