THE UK is set for a summer scorcher by the end of this week as forecasts predict areas of Britain will be hotter than Hawaii in the 'first properly hot day' this year.
Met Office Steve Keates said: “There’s not been much in the way of exceptionally warm days or hot days yet this year, but that it set to change.At the beginning of the week, areas in the north may see some wind gusts as high as 55mph and thundery showers in places as low pressure moves away.
