Sheffield recorded the UK's highest temperature of the year so far on Sunday, but the sunny skies are to be marred with cloud, rain and thunder in the coming week.
The Met Office has issued two separate thunderstorm warnings for parts of the country, just a day after the UK recorded its highest temperature of the year so far.
The first yellow warning, in place across the whole of Northern Ireland from midday until 9pm this evening, warns of"some damage" to buildings and some flooding.A separate thunderstorm warning is in place across parts of southwest Scotland, including Glasgow. "Heavy showers, some perhaps thundery with a chance of hail in a few spots, are expected to move eastwards across parts of Scotland this evening," the warning read.
