The U.K. on Tuesday looked to turn Moscow’s claim of"Russophobia" on its head when itIn a U.N. Security Council meeting called by Russia to addresscoming from Western nations that oppose its war in Ukraine, U.K. Minister Counselor Fergus Eckersley, said,"We do not suffer from Russophobia."

"Russophobia is one of the ever-growing list of excuses the Russian government has come up with to justify its war in Ukraine," he said, giving part of his address in Russian to ensure Russians listening could fully understand him. Members of the council have repeatedly called on Moscow to withdraw its forces from all of Ukraine, including the regions its has claimed to have annexed.
