Last week, the UN’s top court ordered Israel to enable the unhindered flow of aid into Gaza to avert a famine. In particular, it states: “ should bring in the necessary foodstuffs, medical stores and other articles if the resources of the occupied territory are inadequate. Rishi Sunak said the Government would be keeping arms exports to Israel under “careful” review in the wake of the killing of three UK aid workers this week.

He added: “Get more aid into Gaza. That’s what we’ve consistently called for and what we want to see actually is an immediate humanitarian pause to allow more aid in, and crucially the hostages to be released, and that’s what we’ll continue to push for.”
