‘Running out of time’: Missing sub rescue mission involves ‘so many unknowns’University of Adelaide Associate Professor Eric Fusil says rescue crews 'need a lot of luck' to save the passengers onboard the Titan submarine. 'We're running out of time, we need to swarm everything in,' Mr Fusil told Sky News Australia. 'There is a new ship that has arrived... the Victor 6000 (it) can create an acoustic map of the sea bottom, but the area is so vast that we need a lot of luck to find the Titan in time. 'If the Victor 6000 can find her, (it has) two robotic arms that could basically disentangle the Titan if she were to be stuck within debris or the reck ... and give her a gentle push towards the surface. However, 'there are so many unknowns at the moment' that rescuing the passengers off the submarine 'is really a long stretch', he said.
