The United Kingdom Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has faced backlash for adopting a stronger border policy after 45,000 illegal arrivals entered Britain in the last year, says Sky News host Peta Credlin.
Her comments come as the Prime Minister announced on Wednesday he will present legislation to the Parliament to immediately deport any illegal boat arrival to Rwanda, or an alternative safe country.
“Think what we’ve done in Nauru and PNG – that’s what Britain now wants to do in relation to Rwanda,” Ms Credlin said. “At least Britain’s now finally serious about this issue and following our example as the world’s only country so far to successfully have stopped a large wave of illegal migration by small boat.”
