UIW’s Lindsey Scott closing in on FCS passing records as national buzz builds

“You can act like you don’t see it, but before too long somebody is going to be like, ‘Hey, RG3, have you talked to him?’” Scott said. “I don’t know RG3, but that’s pretty cool.” “That would be great. It’s a testimony to the hard work as an offense, and the process I go through every week, and the process we go through as a team,” Scott said. “It’s always nice to get to the end of the season and have that solidified in stone.”
Many of the cumulative records hinge on how many more games the No. 8-ranked Cardinals play, with three dates remaining in the regular season and anywhere from one to five playoff games to potentially follow. UIW coach G.J. Kinne said the Cardinals don’t need to keep much of an eye on the records, learning about Scott’s pursuits from fans and the media.
