If you drive through Uintah City, the usual mountain "U" looks a little different at night. The community came together to place solar-powered lights below the "U", so it transforms into an "H" in the dark. The H stands for Hendrickson.Clearfield company CEO, daughter identified as victims in fatal Ogden Canyon crash An updated press release from Utah Highway Patrol said the crash happened Saturday afternoon around 12:49 p.m. on SR-39 in Ogden Canyon. According to UHP, a mini bulldozer was on a tow truck when it broke free and slid off. This happened while the truck was rounding a right-hand curve. The bulldozer landed on the Hendrickson's pickup. 57-year-old Richard Hendrickson and his daughter, Sally, died. "We just want his family to know that we love and care about them," Uintah City Mayor Gordon Cutler said. "Our city was just really in the dark. We know we've lost a valued member in our community. Richard was the President and CEO of Lifetime Products, a manufacturing company that's headquartered in Clearfield. He was also a stake president for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Ogden Utah Pleasant Valley Stake. A memorial now rests inside, near the front of the Lifetime Headquarters entrance. Richard is described as being an incredibly talented person, who was also kind and great with people.
