“We’ve got a lot to play for,” coach Dana Holgorsen said. “At the end of the day we can finish 8-4 and 6-2, which is respectable as second in the conference. We didn’t meet our goal. It’s not acceptable, but it’s respectable.” The group endured a losing season in 2019, the COVID-interrupted 2020 season and 11-game winning streak and run to the AAC championship game in 2021.
