The president of Somalia Hassan Sheikh Mohamud held a meeting with his Ugandan counterpart Yoweri Museveni in Kampala on Monday morning.
Villa Somalia said the two leaders discussed the fight against Al-Shabaab and an upcoming conference that will bring together leaders of the troop contributing countries [TCC].
The TCC forum is set to open in Kampala, according to the presidency, which didn't provide date for the start of the regional leaders' gathering on war against Al-Shabaab.

Demonstrators gained access to the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) after police lobbed teargas to disperse them outside the KICC precinct's even as a number of protestors were arrested. Security was heightened on roads around State House in Nairobi ahead of a protest march by opposition leader Raila Odinga. Roads blocks were erected by armed police who stopped and searched vehicles to ensure supporters of the opposition chief do not find their way to the seat of power. Odinga told his supporters that they will proceed to State House. The Azimo Coalition leader made the announcement on March 19, hours after he said during a media interview plans to storm State House had been shelved. Kisumu remains deserted as traders heeded Odinga's 'public holiday' call despite the government terming the call unconstitutional.
