UFC fan-favorite Dustin Poirier has confirmed his next opponent will be among a list of great fighters on the roster.
UFC fan-favorite Dustin Poirier recently announced that he plans to fight one more time before calling it a career. There are a multitude of high-level fighters that could be his proverbial swan song, but Poirier himself has given a hint as to whom he plans to face in his would-be retirement match.Poirier joined 'The Anik & Florian Podcast' when he was asked about whom his final fight could be against.
Though Poirier has indicated he wants to fight one more time, any one of the names listed from Anik would be a huge matchup.Poirier and McGregor have held a long feud with one another and though they have fought three times, a fourth and final bout would make sense. McGregor broke his leg the last time he and Poirier fought at UFC 264 in July 2021, so it stands to reason the pair should make up for the stoppage.
