UConn's Donovan Clingan says Dan Hurley will 'eventually' coach in the NBA
“No, I knew he wasn’t going to leave,” the 7-foot-2 Clingan said in response to a question from NJ Advance Media during NBA Draft media availability Tuesday in midtown Manhattan. “I knew he was going to stay, I knew how much he loved UConn. I knew how much UConn meant to him.
“Obviously, he had a look at the opportunity , it’s a great opportunity for him. I know he’ll eventually want to go to the NBA. He’ll never leave UConn to go to another college, but UConn’s home for him and I know he’s going to give everything he’s go to go for three was in our Plan A pool of coaches that we were really interested in exploring.”
