After watching his team get beat up on the court by Michigan , Mick Cronin threw in some punches of his own.
“I have to run on the court to get guys to play hard. It’s crazy. And it’s every day. I’m tired of it. I have the most energy of everybody at practice every day. I’m upset with everybody in that locker room, my assistant coaches and my players. In his sixth season as UCLA’s head coach, Cronin has led the Bruins to a Final Four as part of three straight Sweet 16 runs. as a No. 11 seed, followed by back-to-back Sweet 16 runs, including 31 wins in 2022-23. But the program missed the NCAA Tournament last year, and after a promising start to this winter, they have lost three of their last four games.
