The Bruins had missed 10 straight shots and appeared close to wasting another late possession.

Jaime Jaquez, who led all scorers with 27, hugged teammate Jules Bernard as the crowd chanted “U-C-L-A” in celebration. The victory clinched the two-seed in the Pac-12 Tournament for the Bruins while dropping the Trojans to third. “We have to do a better job [on turnovers] in Las Vegas,” said USC head coach Andy Enfield, whose team lost consecutive games for the first time this season.
