Former Helix High star Miles Norris scores a season-high 25 points in Big West victory by the Gauchos
Former Helix High star Miles Norris enjoyed quite the homecoming Saturday night, scoring a season-high 25 points to lead UC Santa Barbara to an 87-71 win over UC San Diego inside LionTree Arena.
UC Santa Barbara improved to 22-7 overall and 13-5 in the Big West. UCSD fell to 10-20 and 5-13. It’s UCSD’s first 20-loss season since 2002-03.UCSD struggled mightily defensively as the Gauchos shot 59.3 percent from the field . UCSD shot 47.5 percent . Norris began his college career at Oregon, where he played one season before going to San Francisco City College, then on to UCSB.
